The Civic Association of the Hamlet of East Quogue
Our Projects:
East Quogue Civic Association is proud to have been a mainstay of the community for many years. Some of our successes are the establishment of the Hamlet Park on the corner of Lewis Road and Montauk Highway, and raising the funds to purchase the clock on Main Street. In addition, we facilitated the purchase by the East Quogue School District of the property on Central Avenue adjacent to the school. We created and continue to sponsor the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration and the Summer Concerts in the Park series.
Scholarship:
Each year the Civic gives a merit-based scholarship to an East Quogue student graduating from Westhampton Beach High School.

Beautification Committee:
In 2002 we created the Village of East Quogue Beautification Committee, a not-for-profit tax exempt organization. The EQBC is a very active group of volunteers who created and maintain the hanging baskets on Main Street, the Garden in front of the Post Office, the Native Plant Garden at the Bay Avenue Marine Park, and the boxes around the trees on Main Street. It also shares the sponsorship of the Annual Tree Lighting with the Civic Association.
Annual Tree Lighting with the Civic Association
The Community Annual Tree Lighting with Civic Association is a festive event that brings together neighbors and friends to celebrate the holiday season. Join us for an evening of caroling hot cocoa, and the lighting of the tree. This year's event promises to be a memorable one, so mark your calendars and bring the whole family!
